Every time I teach a class or work with an individual I focus on one idea; that we can become more self-reliant.   As our world changes, economist, Juliet B. Schor in her book,  Plenitude states, “The savvy response is to invest in those sectors and activities that have been neglected.  It’s time to reclaim hours, build skills, invest in people, save more and perfect the art of self-provisioning.”  I would love to help you build the skills for your own self-provisioning.

Stir fry them. Steam them. Put them in soup.  Freeze them.  Add them to things you would never guess you could. Cook them with eggs.  Early spring is a time when most of us are"long"on greens.  If you are trying to eat locally, and possibly grow some of your own food, you'll wonder how to eat all those greens.  Learn at least five different ways to cook or store greens that are quick, really nutritious, and kind to your wallet.  Eat dinner with us this night.  Charli plans to share one recipe that she asked for when she was traveling in India.  Plan to help prepare the food.  This is a hands-on cooking class.
